Devendra Sharma joined Coal India Limited in 1995. His first posting was in SECL and he is currently posted in Kakri Project of Northern Coalfields Limited.

Q: For those who are not familiar with you, tell us something about you.

A: I am someone who takes life as festival, someone who believes that life is better enjoyed than lived. I am also someone who strongly vouches for importance of self awareness in one's life.

Q: Tell us something about you as a Coal Indian.

A:Having a job in Coal India Limited was like a dream come true. My first posting was in SECL, Bilaspur. I joined Coal India Limited before it got listed. Since then, its performance and popularity has been on steady rise.It feels great to be part of this growth story.

TAKING INITIATIVES IS VERY IMPORTANT: P.P.SINGH

Mr.Prit Pal Singh joined Coal India Limited in 1982. Next year (in 2017) he will be retiring from services of Coal India Limited. He is currently working as Staff Officer(Personnel).
  
(For our non-Coal India readers, Staff Officer is a designation that exists in coalfields. A staff officer of a particular discipline heads that discipline in coalfields and coalfields are usually called 'project'. Staff Officers of all disciplines collectively report to Head of the Project.)

 Since, he is my immediate boss in this project, we get to interact every day.
But it was only after I interacted with him for ectoria that I was left thinking.
